David Vautin, AICP, Assistant Director of Major Plans at the Metropolitan Transportation Commission and the Association of Bay Area Governments, walked through the Plan Bay Area 2050 Final Blueprint, the strategies that are at its core, and the potential benefits for the region and for Marin County from implementing these strategies over the next three decades. Plan Bay Area 2050 ia the San Francisco Bay Area’s next-generation long range plan for transportation, housing, the economy, and the environment. The Plan is comprised of 35 equitable and resilient strategies designed to put the region on a better path toward a more affordable, connected, diverse, healthy, and vibrant future for all.
